At the moment, I’m directing a documentary feature film with producer/director Richard Keddie among other wonderful people. I left my backpack in a muddy field in New Zealand with a bunch of (hilarious) Fred Dagg impersonators and said bag had to be couriered across the country. I am very fun to work with.

I am usually also doing some or all of the following:

  • My regular column for The Big Issue.

  • Writing for kids’ TV (schedule dependent).

  • One-off projects that can happen alongside the above, like being in people’s podcasts or writing things.

  • Planning another book.

  • Discussing with Sophie Townsend how likely it is we could make another series of The Fitzroy Diaries.

  • Arguing with Stew Farrell about working on a podcast together without either of us having to do any work.
